I act as listener, questioner, cheerleader and someone to account the progress of your goals.

My name is Rick Heyland.
I am a life-long goal setter. My mother taught me goals with a chart on the wall when I was 5 years old. I wrote my personal mission statement when I was 27 years old as I was struggling to compete during year 1 at MBA school.
My mission statement developed in 1987 was:
To strive for continuous improvement in my life and those in my circle of influence. I will interdependently focus on accomplishing my vocational, avocational and service goals.
With that mission statement in hand, I made it though MBA school and found a small consulting company that absolutely fit my mission. I helped that company grow and helped companies achieve an ROI using key building blocks of goals, problem-solving tools and skills and team building. After 31 years with that Performance Improvement company, I retired to start CI4life.
CI4life is my attempt to teach my life long learnings about personal and professional continuous improvement to individuals and leaders that are passionate about improvement.
